    2. En wat betekenen deze scores? Ik heb geen idee hoe ik dit moet interpreteren.
Wat wil 88.5 op gezondheid zeggen?

    3. Good to see. I talked about this recently.

Shows how far we’ve come as a society. Remember countries with high gender equality tend to have higher standards of living, stronger economies, and overall better quality of life. Result of a large, participative workforce, equality of access to education and a culture that values fairness and respects both men and women for what they bring to the table.

But let’s not kid ourselves—this balance didn’t just happen on its own, and it’s not something we can take for granted. Let’s no be oblivious to the fact that certain ideologies that are seeping into our society such as Islamism, run completely counter to these values. If we let them take root, they threaten not just gender equality but the foundation of our way of life and, in turn, our standards of living and prosperity. We have to be firm in defending what makes our society strong and successful.

At the same time, we need to recognize that equality doesn’t mean striving to be the exact same. Men and women are different—and that’s not a bad thing. Trying to erase those differences in the name of “equality” is just nonsense, don’t be fooled. What we should aim for is valuing those differences equally and appreciating what each gender brings to the table.

So yeah, let’s celebrate the progress we’ve made, but also remember that it’s worth protecting. If we want to keep our society thriving, we can’t get complacent.
