      I would be to scared that big arrow in the sky would fall on my car.

      When you take a look in the street you see the parking spots are indicated with a white line and blue P
      This is the sidewalk (also has the border stone which the parking spots don’t have.
      But I get the confusion.

      Well, I mean, there are a *lot* of cars there, so you could complain it’s shittily designed.

      This is Belgium. People just park wherever they want anyway.

      Even the sign that threatens them with a car removal service if they dare park in front of my garage doesn’t seem to deter all of them :-/

      it’s kinda a dick move for cops but technically not.
      In centers (i assume) you can only park between marked spots or on the road, the latter ain’t possible because street is too narrow.
      It’s similar to getting fined for standing outside your lines, when it’s inches for a spot you can be lucky with a small car but when the spots clear out again you look like the a-hole that couldn’t park properly.

      side note if the grass is on the same level as the street it’s free game, „gelijkgrondseberm“ can be parked on in centers (not if leveled)
