Why hiding the number ?
You don’t even know that your Tochter changes her number?? What a disgrace of a Vater you are!
I’ve received this multiple times too and have been suspicious. I am curious how it works though. What happens if you respond?
I know it is a scam, but can anybody explain how this specific scam works? Since they already have the number of the potential victim, why do they want the victim to contact them via WhatsApp? Why don’t they start the conversation via WhatsApp?
And what will be the outcome in the end?

I’ve received a couple with „Hallo Papa/Mama“, apart from those split 50-50 between „Papa“ and „Mama“ (I’m neither anyway…). Properly identified and blocked by Google’s filter, but I still get to review them and have a laugh.
I’m always tempted to add them on whatsapp just to troll them 😅

Glad I have a Google Pixel. I don’t get those messages because Google filters them out as spam
I get this at least twice a week.
