Ich habe das abgebildete alte Schloss an unserer Badezimmertür montiert. Der Verriegelungsmechanismus ist derzeit nur durch die runde weiße Abdeckung verschlossen. Ich habe es geöffnet und versucht, den Türgriff dort zu haben, und ja, es ist eines dieser Schlösser, bei denen man die Tür verriegeln kann, indem man den Türgriff nach oben dreht. (Siehe Bilder) Aber ich kann mir vorstellen, dass ich wahrscheinlich einen bestimmten Türgriff/Riegel benötige, damit es funktioniert, und ich vermute, dass es mit Sicherheit auch keine zwei Türgriffe haben sollte. 😁 Und ich habe überprüft, ob die kleinen Türgriffe für Badezimmerschlösser hier nicht angebracht werden können.
Kann mir jemand zunächst sagen, wie diese Art von Schloss in Finnland heißt, damit ich hoffentlich in einem Baumarkt eine Anleitung bekomme? Sagen Sie mir oder verweisen Sie mich auf eine Online-Anleitung, wie man den Verriegelungsmechanismus richtig installiert bzw. dafür sorgt, dass er ordnungsgemäß funktioniert.

It’s a Boda lock, don’t know the model, might be 312. Common in buildings from the 50’s to early 80’s or so. As a nice bonus the thing is riveted so you can’t even open it to clean or grease.
They haven’t been made for 40 years now
Some older toilet doors have just one handle on the inside which is turned upwards to lock the door. I think that this lock is meant to be used with two single sided handles. The outside handle would be attached to the upper position and the inside handle to the lower position.
If you turn the lower handle downwards will the locking bolt retract?

If you are renting, that’s basically on your landlord to fix it. How ever, there’s no actual law that requires it to be replaced. At the same time I wouldn’t replace it by your self just like that either without asking is this okay.
If it’s your own home, do what ever you like.
