Hallo zusammen, ich frage hier, da ich noch nie in einem ICE war, also weiß ich nicht, wie das funktioniert. Ich hatte morgen einen Direktzug von Berlin nach Amsterdam und jetzt sehe ich, dass er gestrichen wurde. Jetzt steht auf meiner Ticketseite wörtlich „Sie können jeden anderen Zug nutzen – ohne Aufpreis“, aber ist das gültig, wenn ich eine Strecke mit einer Verbindung dorthin fahre, nicht direkt? Ist mein Ticket für diese beiden Züge gültig? Ich möchte nicht mit einer Geldstrafe belegt werden 😅 z. B. das Bild, das ich angehängt habe. Vielen Dank, sm im Voraus!

Just don’t make a detour via Munich.
Yes, it will be valid. The only issue could arise if your connection were a Dutch train, but it’s ICE all the way. You can talk to the Zugbegleiter on the platform to be extra sure.
I’m in the same boat. There’s long overdue construction work on the line and I’m pretty annoyed they even sold the tickets knowing full well this was planned.
My sister units train today (same direction) wasn’t cancelled but she had to transfer 6 times.
That’s a new record, btw. Usually one transfers once. 😉
You can take any train going to NL. Once you hit the border, your fine and you also can use any Dutch train.
My trains from Frankfurt to Amsterdam also were cancelled, so I took all other ICEs combined with regional trains, the conductors understood it
