Interesting fact: Limassol was originally called „Νέμεσος“ later transformed to „Λεμεσός“.

Limassol once had an aerial railway system that transported goods from the mountains to the coast, functioning like a vintage cable car. The coastal area that the line ended is called even now day as Enarios which translates to aerial.
