      From the article —

‚ Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D) [spent a year] teaching there after college…. Walz has returned to China around 30 times, even honeymooning there, and with „Educational Travel Adventures,“ a company he established to facilitate study abroad trips for American high schoolers. After he was elected to the House of Representatives in 2006, Walz served on the Congressional-Executive Commission on China, the government agency tasked with monitoring Chinese human rights and the rule of law.

‚ Now, as Walz enters the national spotlight as Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris‘ vice presidential running mate, that longstanding — and often complex — relationship has come under renewed scrutiny. Will Walz’s history with Beijing affect his candidacy, and role in a potential Harris administration? ‚

    2. So on the one hand we have a potential VP who traveled to China as tourist and held a political position that required contact with China, but he owns no trademarks or has sold property to China or made money in other ways from China.
On the other hand we have a candidate who keeps drooling over the chinese leader, owns 100+ trademarks in China, China spent 5.5 Million at Trump properties while he was in office…

Which of those candidates should we be concerned about?

    3. Experience is a good thing. Probably has a better understanding of the culture and politics of China than most.
