They’re starting from a very narrow definition of violence against women. In the book „Why does he do that?“, there are several definitions of partner abuse. He’s a classic „terrorist“. Of course there are women who aren’t beat up senseless but still living in a state of terror due to their unstable partners. The problem with blaming it all on the wrong medications is that the wanted to wipe out his entire family so that they wouldn’t feel „any pain anymore“. Excuse me? Wtf is he to determine that other people have a right or not to live? There’s PLENTY of people with mental illness that never raise a hand to others, much less KILL them.

Only a narcissist would fight such a fitting definition because he cannot BEAR any accountability for his actions. Only an ignorant journalist would just take a homicidal man’s words and not inform HIMSELF about abuse (because it can happen in whispers and backhanded remarks), and think he’s done a good job. But then again, this is the country where an old TV presenter jokes about penetrating an unconscious woman with a church candle, and it is STILL the most watched TV show in the land. Oh the ignorance.

I hope he’s under heavy surveillance because it’s unfathomable to me that he’s free.
