Der Zustand der Festung Erebuni ist miserabel. Es ist ein fantastischer Ort und doch in einem solchen Zustand.

I’m liking these posts. Maybe we can make a list of to-do restorations in armenia? If such a thing doesn’t exist yet.

Honestly I hope that we will adopt more adaptive approach to our historic sites like Erebuni and would really restore them, not just leave it as is and just preserve the ruins we have.

A restored landmark would be of more value for the city, than just some boring ruins

And yes, they are boring. There is literally nothing aside from one nice wall fresque and something in the tiny museum
