Wenn ich mich recht erinnere, war das 2021. Damals wurde die vollständige Gesichtsbedeckung gerade verboten, das ist nichts Neues. Der Hijab ist, soweit ich weiß, immer noch erlaubt. Das Einzige, was nicht erlaubt ist, ist die vollständige Gesichtsbedeckung.
Ich habe nichts darüber gefunden, dass die Schweiz den Islam nicht mehr als Religion anerkennt. Das Einzige, was ich herausgefunden habe, ist, dass zwei Drittel der Menschen einer Umfrage zufolge der Meinung sind, dass er nicht als Religion angesehen werden sollte.

The internet is full of lies from all sides.
As I know, judaism, islam, hinduism and even boudism are not recognized, you have ro write „others“ in Steuererklärung.
And I often see womens with that thing, so its not true

Similarly I saw some posts about how „Switzerland“ has national preference for hiring nationals over foreigners.
But it’s actually only for sectors with high unemployment (I think higher than 8%).
And in practice it’s only that they have to wait 5 days, and no obligation to hire a Swiss anyway.
If it is for a greater good, in this case spreading negative views on islamism and islamists, who cares if it is accurate or not?

The law however is not yet in force. As the Swiss populace did not rise a veto in form of a referendum, it is nearly ready to come into force. What is missing is a change of the simple fine ordinance (Ordnungsbussenverordnung/ Ordonnance sur les amendes d’ordre) by the Federal Council which specifies the fines for the violation of the law. This might need another public consultation round (Vernehmlassung) which takes at least 4 months. A first proposal was a fine of CHF 200.
I do not expect that the law comes into force before January 2025.
