This is the umpteenth gadget I’ve seen over the years that draws power from the tides and/or currents. For financial, maintenance, or environmental reasons, none of them have really taken off, but this one seems promising.
Hopefully, it will be able to withstand seawater and salt air for many years to come. It’s always good to have another inexpensive, renewable energy source available.
