You can cook it, but it is supposed to be eaten raw.

It can be (and I suppose should be) eaten as is
It should be eaten uncooked with a beer or vodka.
Hopefully as a muslim you are OK eating the pig meat. Belarusian pigs, unlike arab, are kosher and halal. We have the strong tradition of making them clean and safe to eat raw.
I prefer to buy sausage, nearly 5 byn for stick. Perfect for 1.5-2L of beer, if I’m alone – I don’t even bother to cut it.
