Nur ein Scherz! So hätte ich abstimmen können, wenn es in Luxemburg ein E-Voting-System gäbe. Wir schreiben das Jahr 2024 und warten immer noch auf eine moderne Wahllösung. Bis dahin müssen wir persönlich zum Wahllokal gehen oder per Post abstimmen. Hoffen wir auf eine bequemere Zukunft!

Hard no. Apart from the obvious security and anonymity issues, e-voting will erode the trust in the voting process. Voting should be overseen by the public as it is today, and not pander to politicians desperate for an early result, or people who can’t be arsed to go to their local polling station.
Hard no against electronic voting and/or voting machines seeing how their use is then used to question the legitimacy of the election.
Or even more convenient: let’s just move on to an authocracy so we won’t even need to vote anymore, how cool would that be!
