Is there chippings in the car park? A small stone may have hit your windscreen.

In any case, you would no longer be allowed to drive as the crack is in your field of vision.

A garage near you will be able to help you.

    3. Literally anything could have caused that. Don’t dwell on it if there isn’t anything obvious, just get it fixed. I had the same. A year prior, a kid playing with a football next to the car hit my windshield. But the car was almost 10 years old and it’s seen -20ºC and scraping ice off of it, and +40ºC. So it can just be material fatigue.

    4. Insurance will pay for it, but talk to your insurance first, some insurances give you better conditions if you have it repaired instead of swapping the complete windscreen.

    5. I see this and something in my head starts singing: carglass repariert, carglass tauscht aus….
