    1. „It is your fault if you loose your crypto, just get a cold wallet or device“

    2. I bought my ledger direct from ledger to avoid this exact thing. Then they leaked my data on the dark web and I’ve gotten phishing emails/calls/texts/snail mail ever since! So much safer

    3. Hey, at least they didn’t have to deal with the crushing regulation of a bank, with their armed guards, vault, account safeguards, and deposit insurance.

    4. The future of finance. If 100m got stolen from a bank it would be national news. In crypto, it’s just another day.

I feel like this post and headline is designed to promote cold wallet activity because “big brother” is very curious.

    7. Looks like it’s confirmed by Ledger:

In a statement to Cointelegraph, Ledger said the incident appeared to be isolated to the reseller and affected market, adding that it had received no reports involving devices purchased directly from the company.

“Ledger’s infrastructure, systems and services were not compromised,” the company said, adding that its investigation remains ongoing.

I think Ledger is a shit show these days and has been for a fair amount of time.

They need to do better, and a lot of the problems are by design. Specifically the batteries they’ve chosen to use.
