No way they win these elections, polls mean absolute shit, if there is full transparency in elections we will see just how unpopular Georgian dream is, they’ve done literally every mistake they possibly could commit under a pretext of some hidden deal that is completely speculatory… they’ve done fuckall during all of their time in power and only now somewhat capitalized on Ukraine war and by situation due to circumstances they’ve became more important than they naturally would be.
People are angry and fed up, but opposition has absolutely no leadership and the factor of UNM boogeyman still exists in the society, so I feel like this is why it’s so ambiguous at the moment, but the current parliamentarian system is exactly what GD used to get Saakashvili out of power and this exact method will be used while getting them out of power if, and it’s a big if, they don’t rig the elections, which they most likely will because they’ve abolished “ცესკო” center of voting transparency of some shit, which was a regulatory entity that observed fairness and transparency of elections, and it was supposed to be non governmental or something.
So this is a gamble if we descend into another regime change through violance or first democratic transition in history of modern Georgian state since 1918, because only in first republic the regime changed happened peacefully, democratically and with no political reprecussions for government prior
