       Wcześniej obowiązywało „Honor i Ojczyzna”.

    2. When Russians took Poland after 1945 they purposely removed „God” from the phrase „God, Honor, Fatherland”. Be careful because they made many fake flags, medals etc. claiming that they were made in 40s and there was newer a word „God” there. Beware of commies manipulation.

He knows that very well, he just lies because he’s a spineless and disgusting piece of human garbage who doesn’t care about the truth… 😅🤌🤌🤌

    4. we need to also remove honor because it only makes matters worse as we have seen before world war II. Need to be pragmatic.

    5. Well obviously, Piłsudski was a dirty socialist, of course he erased our proud Catholic heritage /j

Now it depends what you want to built as a politician / aspiring statesman. As a rule, there is no such thing as a “united society” other than that of a scary totalitarian phantasm. Facing disaster or in a wartime, a democratic society may show a temporary need to “rally-around-the-flag”, yet fortunately it remains heterogeneous and naturally diversified.

Aggressively peddling “god” in a rapidly secularising Polish society is not an attempt to consolidate the people – it’s a clear political labour to integrate conservative far right at the expense of further divisions.
Ultimately those of the patriotic Poles who would fully subscribe to the third, and most important pillar of the triad “the fatherland” (let alone the patriarchal overtone), yet reject religion and perhaps question the meaning of “honour” in the triad (e.g. like in Islamic “honour killings”, or booze-driven ego hypersensitivity), will be condemned as unorthodox and unfit for the purpose of the renewed, catho-nationalist narrative.

    7. God was added during IIWW by one of the generals. During communism they tried to tak it off and it was added back in 1993.

Can someone ELI5 why is it important and why the religiosity of today’s Poles should depend on the Poles of 1940s? Maybe they said „for God“ and today you don’t say it. Maybe they didn’t say it and today you want to start saying it. How is it important if it started in 1943 or 1993?
