      I JUST saw someone bring up the girls as a „would my faves ever do“ in discourse about a different group’s problem and then this happens.

      Imma be honest, seeing two 15-16 year olds have write apology letters is kinda crazy. I ain’t that mad at fro usage when Michael had an afro era as long as they didn’t paint themselves.

      Can it not simply be just the most iconic person she could think of at that moment with afro hair was Michael? He rocked Afro hair for a long time. It doesn’t have to be with malice no?

      Like if they gave them baby era Justin Bieber hairstyle and they sang a bieber song or if they were given a Beatles‘ style wig and they sang a Beatles song?

      Why do we have to attribute everything to malice?

      So, the show that put all that unnecessary props to push H2H being „Funny“ not apologize at all, and Maknae that right now 16 years old need to write apologize to the world and getting bulied on twitter.

      I just watched the clip. Are we being serious right now? Lol I’m black and I didn’t see it as offensive at all… They were just trying to portray MJ with props.

      The reaction by some of the fans is what is going to blow this up.

      Like the idols clearly want to move on but some of their fans are digging their heels in and are being openly racist like that will somehow help H2H.

      I agree with the sentiment that this is a non issue and it’s just people being annoying for no reason, but I find it frustrating how this logic only applies to some idols. Let it be someone we happen to have a grudge against for whatever tiny reason and it would all be „ugh fork found in kitchen these racist koreans will never learn they hate black people!“. I wish this was always the attitude unless there was an obvious malicious intent we could all clearly see and not just „ah well this person annoys me so obviously he/she was being racist. context? don’t care lmao“ .

      What do you even want at this point? They were just imitating one of the most popular singers of the last century who happened to be black. They were not making fun or anything. Does everyone now have to just ignore everything that was popularized by the black community? You can’t make a rap song as you’re „stealing“ from black artists, in fact the whole kpop is a „ripoff of black music“ as I found out from „wise“ kpop fans. You can’t naturally tan as you’re trying to pass off as black. You can’t do a little dance or a little impersonation with a f wig. You also can’t style your hair as you should because it’s your f body, you have to get permission from other people it seems like. Do you own hairstyles? Plenty of other cultures did it before our times and others will continue to do these hairstyles. It’s just hair. Everyone can rock anything they want.

      Now what is RACIST is when kpop idols wear a bindi and start mocking traditional Indian handforms and shaking their heads like they are about to fall off their necks. Because they aren’t making an impression of anyone famous, they are MOCKING a whole culture of people because they thinks it’s funny.
