Anyway, this is not surprising. Trump in his first admin burnt out several people hired for press and PR. I recall Spicer literally hiding in bushes to avoid journalists shortly before he quit

Trump’s entire family could leave and he wouldn’t even notice. Not only is he an intellectually missing person, he’s so self centered that there is a cottage industry of former Trump staffers sharing truly insane stories about his ineptitude.
There are multiple former security staffers who genuinely believe that Trump is at least partially illiterate based on the fact that he always made them read the briefings out loud to him and that there were multiple meetings about never giving Trump more than two pages at a time so as not to overwhelm him. The podcasts these ex staffers do are both insane and deeply depressing.
I’ve always thought that she did an impressive job at being an effectively terrible person
