Really wondering why supermarkets, pharmacies and a lot of opticians slept on this

at this point it is just getting ridiculous. I get the hype, I would also like to see it, but I didn’t get any glasses. The world continues and if you really want to see it I guess you should go somewhere, where you will see a 100% eclipse. For example the next one, 100% coverage, is in Spain in 2027. People fear they will never be able to see it again, because what they heared is that the next one will be around 2080 in Switzerland. But that’s the thing, it happens often around the world. I really don’t understand the hype. Yes it’s rare but would I stand in line for God knows how long just for a chance to get the glasses? Absolutely not
