Aber sie wissen, dass die Leute es ablehnen würden, wenn sie es über Nacht einführen würden, also brauchen sie zunächst eine globale Krise, um es zu rechtfertigen. Deshalb kommt es immer wieder zu Bränden. The arsonist is usually seen as just a crazy man, the involving of cats surely hepls the point to further sink.
Wouldn’t be surprised myself if the arsonist would turn out to be some poor guy that for money would do anything, even for little money.
But, the father of a past acquaintace of mine was a member of some kind of police, can’t remeber the division, who got kicked out from it when it got discovered he started fires himself. In an industrial zone like where I live, where if something explodes we’re better off far away. He wasn’t in need of money, it was just a secondary entrance.

Not only to convince people of this narrative but to land grab. Remember that huge land slide tragedy in North Carolina and Tennessee from the “hurricane” a few years ago? I guess communities there voted to not allow mining but somehow those were the same communities that got SLAPPED during those storms when they don’t usually? A lot of people believe dams were broken and it wasn’t due to the storms…
I remember the Canada fires last year (or was it the year before?) that were totally „evidence for global warming“ then it came out that they were started by people in what seemed to be a cordinated effort.

Where I live in Italy, criminals set the forest fires around here because the helicopters etc that put out the fire with sea water get paid tens of thousands every time they’re called. They line their pockets. It’s nothing new unfortunately.

#2 Climate change is real and has happened many times in Earth’s history. It has nothing to do with people. It has to do with the varying output of the sun and the varying orbit of the Earth. But if that truth is explained then the public can’t be controlled/taxed.
I would think it’s more lucrative for them to burn the land and buy it up at a discount.
This is the conclusion I’ve come to aswell OP.
It doesn’t get hot and dry enough for long enough where I am for forest fires to happen without some kind of human activity, accidental or not.
I was just talking to my wife that it seems every summer is smokey out almost every yeah and summer smoke due to big fires her in washington. Sure the hell enough I looked up major fires in washington and it nearly tripled in fires, increasing throughout the years.
Or it could be a certain group of people in the intelligence community who are angry at a country for not aligning with their beliefs and are deployed there to that country to cause mayhem and burn out resources.
In Italy it’s the modern day “mafia”. They’ll profit from insurance, land change uses, or set fires to intimidate or act out vendettas. Been a common issue for a while now, specifically in southern Italy/Sicily.
