Wildberries bizarrely put out a press release yesterday saying they were planning on building and opening a new 103000 m² hub in Kursk in 2027. it was on the front page of Kommersant. I doubt that is true, but I wonder who the press release was aimed at

crazy how the scale of the world has changed so much, private business and singular people are nearly if not as powerful as some governments now (in certain ways, not all, but even Erik Prince has a private military for example, Elon Musk owns a global satellite network and spacex). hitting a technically-private warehouse like this has become a military target because of how much power governments have ceded to rich people that more and more of government functions funnel through private warehouses like this one.

What the hell is Russian air defense doing – except for protecting Putin’s palaces?
There were ~~20~~ 14 large WB facilities left to be protected. The attacks are executed with low cost, slow flying, easily trackable drones which should be easy to intercept with any standard air defense system.
