Chad says it will leave the International Criminal Court, claiming the court is ineffective and unfairly targets African countries. The withdrawal will take at least one year.
Chad is the fourth African country since 2025 to begin withdrawing from the ICC. Niger, Mali and Burkina Faso announced last year they would pull out of the court based in The Hague.

ICC never meant anything. Having ‚laws‘ without the ability to enforce them is just virtue signalling.

if someone from Chad does something bad they can be still arrested and prosecuted by ICC? or they have imunity now?
