      change doesnt happen til the biggest representation trailblazes the path. kudos to them for taking a stand for all asian artists

      So happy about this decision and proud of them for taking a stand. They are bigger than the Grammys will ever be.

      I’m not Korean so feel free to correct me, but don’t these categories actually help the artists?

      BTS is huge so it’s possible for them to get into regular categories, but K-pop acts who are confined to Asia in terms of popularity will have a lot of trouble breaking into main categories. The recording academy is overwhelmingly American or British + middle aged, they’re not going to listen to a K pop release unless they have to.

      The biggest asain artist decided to boycott that racist award. Hope other Asian artist or kpop artist will do the same.

      Good for them! They deserve a Grammy but they don’t need one. Grammy is segregating Asia (which doesn’t even share a language family or a market)
