After studying this issue I’ve come to understand that Russia is planning (and is executing) a genocide on a scale that will likely exceed the Holocaust if they are allowed to complete their plans.
This is why Ukrainians are fighting through such enormous brutality. If they thought they could survive a surrender I suspect they would have a long time ago.

Just horrific what Russia is doing.
