Canada tripled and still feels empty.
USA has one of lowest growth rate, having biggest immigration rate. I would never guess it.
Percentage growth would be helpful.
Had no clue central America countries have so much population.
Guatemala for example, if it was in Europe it would be considered relatively big country with its 17m populations. Even Columbia with 50m population is big surprise to me.

And yet wr have a „fertility crisis“.
For those who talk with their older relatives it’s crazy how much they noticed the population increase. My father said even in the 80s and 90s you could spend days driving by the Brazilian coast with out spotting a single town over 100 people. Most beaches were deserted and you could just camp wherever. The center west was even crazier, it was miles and miles of open savanah with out a farm in site. Farmers from other regions could literally just move in and claim land. Now Brazil feels super built up. The only real wildnerness left is the Amazon and some pockets of the Atlantic forest and pantanal.
Now you know why the planet has been turning to shit.

The color scale comparison of this map is throwing me off. Really bothers me that Brazil in 2020 isn’t darker red than 1950 USA. Like, what is the point.
