I will be honest, would consider visiting if he won. There would at least be an actual chance of seeing him there.

This is very annoying and unfunny obviously, but Farage probably doesn’t deserve much better.

Obvious improvement to local residents compared to what they had.

Love how he’s capping bus prices at a penny less than Burnham.

That’s very sweet

I’m not from the UK, never mind clacton, and i’d vote for him. People of the UK, you want change ? Vote this rubbish out and bring in the bin.

I will celebrate in the street if they win; it’ll only be me, over 100 miles from the constituency but it’ll prove that we’re not living in the worst timeline.

>5. MPs who resign mid-parliament to be barred from the resulting by-election.
>6. MPs who change party mid-parliament to be forced to face a by-election.
Actual common sense policies, which career politicians who have nothing else going for them would hate.
Obviously the reality is that Farage is very likely to win the by-election, but he’ll have less legitimacy than before and even in victory he’ll be a pathetic little loser taking a punt against „the establishment“ and proving it’s just gesturing for attention.
Sadly, he won’t just disappear into obscurity where he belongs, but hopefully the investigations into his dodgy dealings will do it.

A 200 mile drive from me, but I would actually visit Clacton if he wins. Might get a cheeky stuffed animal from a crane game too!

I have the day of the by election in my calender…. Ex-pat, living in Canada…. And pray, pray Binface wins. I’ve never ‘bin’ more excited by politics before.

Don’t let Farage put Clacton in the bin, put the bin into Clacton.

A solid manifesto. Binface will make an excellent Prime Minister and future President of the Planet Earth.

So the choices in this by-election is basically a joke candidate with completely bizarre manifesto, and a man with a bin on his head.

Count Binface feels more in line with the public than a guy who spends more time orangenosing to Florida crooks than in his constituency!

I can’t believe Clacton are going to balls this up. It’s so obvious what should happen, what the whole country is waiting for, and they’re going to deny us all the communal sense of relief that hasn’t been seen since the fappening.

Can’t we call this a Bin Election and not a By election???

Items 5 and 6 I absolutely love. Stop fannying about with the electorate or lose your job that you barely even do.

I am fed up to the back teeth of Clacton candidates with stupid, irresponsible, unachievable, based-on-idiocy manifestos…..
So, it was with some relief that I read Count Binface’s offering today…

This is what British politics have become nowadays, a total embarrassing farce. however much you dislike Farage as a person, not every issue his party is trying to address is as bad as people say. But people will ignore those policies and vote for a chap with a bin on his head. Same people who don’t see a problem with having 7 prime ministers in the last decade.

The random mix of total (but hilarious) banality, things that really should be banned for being unreasonably (some overlap with the previous category it has to be said:), showing up politicians for the hypocrites they are and genuinely sensible policies is absolute genius.

Number 6 absolutely should be the case any way!
When you vote in an election you are voting for the policies of the party that the candidate represents. Because the candidate’s policies are always a mirror of the party’s policies, with just the person’s name and photo changed
If an MP is voted in with the policies of Party A, and then they transfer to Party B, then they have done the old bait-and-switch and you end up with Party B’s policies by sleuth
Fuck that
Absolutely whenever an MP switches party there should be an immediate by-election
And it should be paid for by (a) the MP, and (b) the party that they have switched to

I have a feeling Clacton will vote for grifter Farage again.
