Boo hoo. When Iran started supplying shaheds to Russia, they became a belligerent.

Fucking Ukraine! How dare you attack the great nation of Iran who’s been sinking ships going through the Strait for last several months! Don’t you understand? Do unto others, as you’d have them do unto you! Ahh, no that’s not it. Eye for an eye…. Ummm not that saying either.
Whatever! Ukraine you’re amount to get one hell of a tongue lashing when you come to our ambassador’s office

Iran is supplying Russia which fuels its war machine, and/or is buying from Russia which enriches Russia, fueling its war machine.
Any ship other than a passenger liner going to or from Russia is probably a legit target.

**Iran, you started this by supplying drones to Russia, you don’t now get to cry “unfair” when you get slapped for it.**

Will continue saying this until people get it: Russia’s war against Ukraine and Iran’s war against Israel are not separate wars. They are separate fronts in the same unified war that Russia, Iran, and other authoritarian countries like China, North Korea, Cuba, etc are waging against the entire democratic West.
The entire democratic West is under attack from an Axis of Authoritians and the only way we can win the war is if we understand the unified nature of the enemy and fight the entire axis as the unified collective that it is.

Which way was it going? Was it delivering Iranian Shaheds to the Russians, or Russian ones to Iran?

Didn’t Iran just attack a couple of tankers in the Stait of Hormuz? I’m not sure whose but they weren’t theirs. So it all seems a bit rich to complain under the circumstances!

My favorite part of this is all the subtext between Iran and Ukraine, now that Iran is at war with the U.S. and Ukraine is calling them out on supplying thousands of shaheds that have taken hundreds of Ukrainian lives the last 4 years.
Iran to Ukraine: „You don’t really want to open up a two front drone war…“
Ukraine to Iran: „Yeah, no. You mean *you* don’t really want to open up a two front drone war…“

This is quite an interesting development, honestly. Feels like Ukraine is trying to get into Trump’s good graces here since NATO abandoned him. They also have solid justification to be hitting some Iranian vessels because they supplied a bunch of weapons to Russia.
The big question here is: can Zelensky leverage this to win more USA support from Trump?
