      — to be fair, Mexico wasn’t upset that he got shot, the cartels in Mexico do that all the time, but being mistaken for a Guatemalan is a bridge too far.

      That’s fair. It’s not a secret anymore that these ICE prisons have all sorts of human rights violations. Glad someone is doing something about it.

      I wonder is when ICE arrests a non citizen if they allow them to contact a lawyer and their consulate (under the Vienna convention)

      Given the amount of Mexican nationals that end up death row or a life sentence. I don’t give a rats @ss about Mexico thinks

      Careful Mexico, if you upset the tangerine toddler too much you’ll end up with 50% tariffs out of the blue like Canada got for daring stand up for ourselves.

      Curious:What would be the US response, if 17 USA citizens died in custody in  Mexico, or any other country?

      I spent a few months at La Salle in gum springs Louisiana.

      It was awful, 50 guys crammed into a long room, all the showers and sinks broken, the air conditioning ran so hard we often wore 2 pants and 4 shirts. They gave us one blanket but even with all those clothes it was freezing. 

      Everyone just huddled under the blankets talking day and night. Every 3-4 days we’d get 20 mins to an hour outside.

      Every 20 mins day and night the metal gate would grind open and 2 guards would noisily walk through.

      Don’t get me started on the kitchen. There was no soap anywhere. 

      Then the US gov put me on a 747 all by myself and flew me home.

      People in Mexico are kind of entitled if they think they can just cross over and live in America with no papers and zero consequences.
