What a weird article lol
With all the bravado about „teaching the Americans a history lesson“, you would think it’s talking about the war of 1812, but no it is talking about thr 1866 Fenian raids.
Citizens coveting the land of a foreign nation is beyond bizarre. I don’t think I’ve once thought, “wouldn’t it be great if my country extended our borders by annexing or invading another country?”

The America and Canada of today are not what they were back then. We would be utterly annihilated if we tried to fight back should America attempt an actual invasion
Plus, what motivation do young Canadians have to put their lives on the line? Why defend the same older generation that has collectively decided to lock them out of the housing market so that the values of their houses don’t go down?
