Seems a sensible, if diplomatic, response to the question. Trump cant be trusted.
Well, duh. Nobody with an ounce of sense trusts Trump. Even his closest political allies do not trust him. The only people who do are the members of his cult, and even then the shine of MAGA is starting to wear off with the continuing mishandling of Iran.

Such a stupid question to ask a sitting PM. What’s he supposed to say? „No, I don’t trust the leader of one of the most powerful countries who are supposed to be an ally“. Who trusts Trump, outside his cult? Difference between Burnham and most of the world’s politicians seems to be that Burnham isn’t a liar. Strangely, neither was Starmer but the Telegraph and other foreign-controlled propaganda rags managed to get rid of him so the anti-Burnham campaign will pick up steam.

Good man, there are only two ways to answer this question diplomatically: refuse to answer, or lie.
Nobody can trust Trump. Even his allies can be cast aside on a petulant whim. He’s a pathological liar to the point I’m not sure he even knows what the truth is. For his family and friends, even if he’s trying to be truthful I suspect he forgets or misconstrues things.
