There’s no „likely“ for 27 to be the warmest. It’s virtually impossible for it not to be. Baring a super volcano eruption or something.
All that heat from El-Niño can’t get past the troposphere because of all the greenhouse gases that the fossil fuel industry’s think tanks says is a non issue.
We’re looking at centuries of medieval conditions as a best case scenario if the Antarctic ice sheet slides into the ocean. The sea ice bolsters the ice shelves. The ice shelves prevent a slide. The sheet is the size of the U.S. and Mexico combined you know.
Like whats the fucking point…
If we look at humanity as a single substance, our momentum over the last 100yrs has increased insanely.
Why? What is it that we’re reaching for, that requires such a pace?
Its absolutely destroying this planet’s biosphere.
We’re ripping apart Gaia, & honestly; im not even sure why anymore…
