    1. Do we have any kind of second view of this? Those physics are looking suspicious.

Looks really big…like a secondary. But a little too fast falling. There is another video but we got no aftermath for that one…

Is this like that other one that „hit“, but turns out it was just a dirt lot?

Interesting that they are firing singular ones now. 🤔

    4. There are cases where ground clutter or incorrect radar settings can get it to lock onto the ground. Wouldn’t be surprised if those towers didn’t give it a bad reflection or something, it’s happened before.

    5. I thought Patriot missiles were hit to kill and had no warhead – what is all that boom coming from????

pause at around 0:09 or a couple of seconds in, you can really see the arching smoke traile illuminated by the rocket.

    7. Another one failed like this last month was it also in Bahrain or was it Kuwait?

    8. It looks more like a targeting error. Instead of the engine shutting down, it turned down towards the ground. You can see the smoke trail it leaves behind.

pretty sure patriot interceptors are sent an automated termination command by the command station if they’re going to impact the ground. That explosion is also massive and looks nothing like solid rocket fuel, which tends to break up and look like a big fireworks explosion.

Bahrain is also known to operate the Hawk, so maybe that’s also a possibility, and probably much more likely to malfunction given semi-active homing and just being ancient overall

Videos of patriot I’ve seen in the past also have massive smoke plumes, and in this video you barely see a hint of one. Either way, I’d hesitate to definitively say what is happening in this video
