      Can you share you Tx numbers? If they mouth off about guns so much, I’d love to point to point out that Delaware is a threat to them.

      Vermont’s placement is the least surprising, Texas is the most surprising.

      Gun ownership numbers are likely low for Nevada. as there’s no requirement to register guns. I see the citation says „estimate“ … but how?

      I think the sheer number of yoga studios in Boulder county might be skewing this statistic for Colorado.

      Just learned that Alabama with a text box over it looks like CT. My first thought was that CT absolutely doesn’t belong in that location

      New York might better be divided between the city (cities) and everywhere else. Rural NY is some back water cowboy wanna-be, conceal-carry-loving, redneck territory. You go far enough and you gonna hear banjos and the people playing them ain’t never hear of yoga, and if they have, it’s something the California commies do.

      So going counter clockwise, states with money and people(yoga rich armed free), states with some money (yoga poor, armed free), states with no money (yoga poor, armed), near no people, (yoga rich, armed)

      I don’t think this mapmaker has ever been to the northeast lol. Peaceful and flexible aka anxious and uptight but less likely to die in a shooting and more likely to have money for yoga

      This is a fascinating correlation. I love that its sources are cited. It raises further questions: can we get a better way to measure mindfulness than searches for „yoga“? Can we get more recent gun ownership data? Can we get this broken down more granularly, maybe per county?

      I live in AZ. I find it very difficult to believe the gun ownership rate is higher in Vermont than here.

      There’s no way AZ shouldn’t be closer to most armed. It’s just a free for all so there’s no official record and people aren’t snitching on themselves.

      Yoga never really took off in Wisconsin because it’s hard to incorporate alcohol

      Zen loving, multiple gun owning Californian here. 30+ guns. Some are collectible, some are ARs, 6-7 pistols, 3-4 shotguns, 3 hunting rifles. Lots of “fun” & unique stuff like my 10 gauge shotgun, 300 Weatherby Mag and a pre-ban, chromed-out AK. My most liberal, yoga practicing friends have the most fun when we go shooting.

      Shout out Montana. Montana is arguably the most slept on state.

      I got out there for the first time last year, and I was blown away. If you like the outdoors and peace then It’s unmatched in my opinion.

      It does heavily lack in urban areas tho so if that’s your thing it’s def not for you long term.
