I’ve flown over the Atlantic a few times and know it is large. I was aware that the pacific was much larger but this blows the comparison.
I didn’t realise the pacific was that large.

But what not put the Northern hemisphere at the centre since that’s where 70-80% of humans live? Also, the North Pole is an ocean, unlike the South Pole.

The Southern/Antarctic Ocean is not really an ocean, but more of a designated area around Antarctica. This map shows really well how it’s really just Indian or Pacific Ocean.

I feel like this map offers a frutiger aero like vibe or a vibe as if it were from an rpg vide game. I completely love exploring stylized maps that offer another perspective compared to most flat and globally technically detailled map although details are still highly important.
