It would be interesting to see this from the north pole. All the more relevant with the ice caps melting away.

Yeah see this is the problem with people from antarctica, they see themselves as the center of the world. Typical.

It’s interesting how perfectly straight the coast of China is in this map

This would make an amazing print for my wall without any of the text,

I’ve flown over the Atlantic a few times and know it is large. I was aware that the pacific was much larger but this blows the comparison.

I didn’t realise the pacific was that large.

Really goes to show how the Philippines and Greenland are the same size!

    7. But what not put the Northern hemisphere at the centre since that’s where 70-80% of humans live? Also, the North Pole is an ocean, unlike the South Pole.

    8. The Southern/Antarctic Ocean is not really an ocean, but more of a designated area around Antarctica. This map shows really well how it’s really just Indian or Pacific Ocean.

I feel like this map offers a frutiger aero like vibe or a vibe as if it were from an rpg vide game. I completely love exploring stylized maps that offer another perspective compared to most flat and globally technically detailled map although details are still highly important.
