Bragging about sleep hours being short is so dumb. But she probably doesn’t know because in Japan there are many people who brag about this.

    2. Alright_doityourway on

Sleep just 3 hours wasn’t a flex as she thought.

It’s suggest that she overworked, and her decision couldn’t be trust because her brian might be foggu due to lack of sleep., her judgement abilities are inpaired.

It’s like saying „I stab myself everyday“

I’ve had to get by on 4-5 hours a night and oh boy do i feel like shit every day.

I don’t know how anyone survives pn 0-3

    4. Kind of doubt that’s true unless she is some kind of animal.

Because of the heat at the moment, I am lucky if I sleep for 5h straight and I do not feel good at all.

Highly doubt anyone who regularly sleeps only 0-3h should lead a country.

Now if she tries to argue that she does that once every 2 weeks or so and uses that as an argument for how hard she works, well, shitty argument.

She is full of it to say the least, unless her house work including blowing someone

When I got 6 hours of sleep I’d rather you not talk to me, 5 and below and I am fucked up in a foul mood with no motivation to do anything for anyone.

I can’t fathom 3 hours, and that’s the upper end of her range. 0-3 hours sounds like a human rights violation

    7. Sleeping 0-3 hours a night during a non war time scenario is concerning and not cause for praise. It indicates one or more things are happening: she is inefficient with her time, she does not trust her staff/cabinet, she is a micromanager, she takes too long to process information, she is a slow decision maker, she is unable to delegate responsibility. There are likely more possibly reasons. All of which are not good signs as being chronically sleep deprived has performance impacts over time.

I mean, is there no one she trusts to do her own ironing? No tailor that can mend clothing? She doesn’t have a trusted staffer to get these chores done?

Of course it could all be political virtue signalling.

I firmly believe that Takaichi is a psyop to make people hate women politicians and they’re using her to push through all of the unpopular policies in one go before she inevitably resigns.

She’s incompetent. The yen continues to fall. She achieves in 24 hours what a junior officer worker achieves in 1.

In addition to it obviously being a lie, the idea that she is making important decisions on 0 hours sleep is not something she should think is a bragging right.

    11. Bet she sleeps through meetings, in cars, and has yet to finish a movie cause she’s asleep halfway

    12. Few-Caterpillar7885 on

It’s not simple housework. She is a full time caretaker of her ill husband and she doesn’t want to give that role to anyone else.

We have incredible controversies in this country…. Hope this question will keep coming back for months as Takaichi sleep schedule is sooo important for us.

    14. Awkward-Sir1873 on

Is that in a row? Every other day when it’s zero sleep? She would be going crazy at that point if she didn’t get sleep for a few days straight. Good luck trying to wake sleep deprived

    15. Around-3-ish on

But she’s lying, right? It’s just a ridiculous lie from a ridiculous person.

    16. There is housework after work?
Really? This is your excuse after the backlash, even if you’ve been bragging you 働いて、働いて、働きます, organised meetings at 3 in the morning and proudly declared to be sleep deprived on twitter?

    17. That’s her typical kansai obahan—totally useless at work, but a world-class actor when it comes to looking busy and complaining.

    18. Ok_Comfort1588 on

Japan can be so ass backwards, they think it’s a flex to be overworked. Cool, so now you have brain fog and can barely function.

It’s actually due to all the socks she’s been making for the orphans. They keep saying stocks. She’s trying to say socks.

    20. Top 10 things that never happened.

Yeah bro the PM definitely doesn’t have a housekeeper in her house, yeah makes sense. Gotta keep that housewife culture alive somehow, uh. God she’s awful.

    21. Its also illogical. No Sleep doesnt mean Hard work.

People with no sleep means weak performance.

Ask any athlete, anyone who is having bad or no sleep will perform much worse than people who have a healthy regular sleep. If you work hard, you need above average sleep to recover again.

If it would be illegal to operate heavy machinery/drive, it should disqualify you from holding public office.

    23. HuevosSplash on

Imagine bragging about being so inefficient you need to sacrifice sleep to do what others do in 8 hours and still suck.
