It probably should be a % of the global production of oil.
(I’d imagine) We know produce much more oil than 50 years ago so it’s hard to compare this crisis to one on the 70s

Does lost mean 1B barrels of oil in the bottom of the ocean? Burned to a crisp? Or simply “not produced”? Big difference imo
I don’t think a Green Party president (if such a thing were conceivable in the US) could have more success in reducing global carbon consumption.

Trump’s ‚war‘ is doing more for the green economy than anything else ever did, with countries now retooling their fossil fuel industries and implementing new green policies with wind, solar and hydro manufacturing processes to make up for the loss. What was once a slow slog of change before is now up to warp speed as desperation begins to set in.
Well done Mr. Trump.
The issue in the Middle East isn’t about oil, it’s about eliminating the nuclear threat from Iran. It’s about eliminating the terrorist threat from Iran. It’s about stopping the “Death to America” ideology from Iran.
