Maybe reducing crime will raise the math scores
What this tells me is Alaskans should drink more moonshine
Correlation equal causation
That sounds like correlation not causation. Are these areas with higher math scores also lower in poverty?
Maybe the ability to add the years of a possible sentence to your current years of age works as a crime deterant.
Or maybe wealthier areas have better schools and less crime.
Is this controlled? There can be so so many things that correlate.
What’s the trend line if you remove Alaska adn New Mexico?
