There are many factors but medical testing is more advanced in areas listed that have lower cancer rates. Food supply, cultural and genetics.

This data means nothing. What do the numbers mean? 40-60 what? 100-120 what? It’s not a total. Clearly not a percentage. Average occurrence per 100,000? There’s no key. No explanation.

Interesting that level of development correlates with higher cancer rates. Do we think that this is due to to higher rates of diagnosis in higher quality health systems or the effect of industrialized agriculture?

This also seems like a map of where they’re diagnosing it more often since there’s bigger better hospitals and more doctors. I think this would correlate well with a global health disparity map.

What do the numbers reflect? Presumably a rate but is it per million people?
This is a kind of bias. 100 years ago in Europe there was less cancer than in Africa for the fact that weak people with low immunity system was not arriving at 50. Childhood death rate was no joke as it is no joke in Africa right now.
Natural selection kills weak children. The survivors are less likely to get cancer and other illnesses.
It’s not our environment, it’s the fact that modern medicine allows everyone to survive, even the ones that shouldn’t.
