Que rolê houve entre mexicanos e chineses em 1923????
usa is so fucked up bro
There was a time in Paraguay that only interracial marriages were allowed.
This is misleading. In the case of the USA, you’re referring to the 1967 SCOTUS Loving v. Virginia ruling which held that state-level anti-miscegenation were unconstitutional. Like a lot of the US, the law was state-by-state. Many never had a ban. Many overturned them in the 19th Century.
What’s with the black countries? Guyana, Suriname, France, Haiti, Jamaica
Brazil actively encouraged interracial marriage between full blood Portuguese and natives/africans as a means of whitening the population as a whole, so not exactly as innocent as the post makes it.

But Argentina is the racist one
The united disgraces of america is bizarre in their racism. Even the argentinians can’t compete with those people
Actually, he thought that building more of an interracial elite would secure the independence of Paraguay because having this all-white elite with those strong ties to Spain still in powerful positions was seen as a huge liability for such an young country. By promoting this kind of interracial marriages, Francia hoped that Paraguay would develop its own native elite instead of a European-centered one
So you’re saying they were committing genocide by tempting the black men with white women ? Argentina bad !
Interracial marriage was never illegal by federal law, and a number of states never had anti miscegenation laws, and beyond that, a most states that had anti miscegenation laws repealed them before 1967.
There is pretty interesting story about a noble man, that owned a bunch of mines, that fell in love with a slaved woman.
He order a church to be build just so he could marry her because the prist refused.

Yet when one looks at social mobility of their minority races, America takes the cake on this.
No middle class black people, cities/districts in Brazil or colombia
Honestly until reading the history of the USA, I wasn’t able to believe that interracial marriage could be illegal, I was 14.
Different methods of imposing racist ideas.
Latin colonies planned to „breed out“ the blackness and other European colonies attempted the don’t touch method and keep the blood pure.
