    1. Some of these are surprising. I didn’t think Eritrea was as big as Louisiana.

    2. Here’s a fun fact. Bangladesh is only the size of Wisconsin, but has roughly half the population of the US. Pretty wild.

    3. Somaliland is not a country it’s state in Somalia.
      North Dakota is roughly the size of Syria or Cambodia

      One amusing point is that Rhode Island also has a sizable Cabo Verdean community.

      Ironically enough Minnesota has a very large Hmong population, and we love ‚em!

      Sweden is just 10% bigger than California, and roughly the same shape.

      If you combined all Japan’s islands together, it’s total landmass is roughly equivalent to Montana. Imagine what Montana would look like if (the equivalent of) 1/3rd of the US’s population lived there.

    9. Now do Australia LOL. Seriously though, land mass almost as big as the USA but with the population of Texas.
