Yea, this isn’t completely accurate. Mokpo should have 3.
There are also a total of 401 current locations in Korea at the end of 2025, with the goal of 500 by 2030.

Surprised it isn’t more common. In Japan McDonald’s is everywhere. Like at every local train station.

I remember when the first McDonald’s came to Daejeon. Big excitement among the foreign community!
One in mokpo is actually in Muan-gun, Jeollanam, but its close enough
Kinda insane that there are 11 in Changwon but not so much in neighbouring states except Busan.
But than there is much more in Daegu. I don’t think this map is really accurate.
Jeju island has a surprsingly large number compared to other areas.
