Wtf, i am going to breed chickens 🤣
Don’t eat that, the date is over!!
lol they are crazy. Almost all prices went up in the most greedy way
Kobe Chicken lol
it’s bio
japanese chicken, received massages and listened to classical music
For that price you’d think they’d also give you its name, and maybe a QR code to a webcam where you can watch how well it lived a full life before it was time to be turned into wasted food.
Migros has the exact same price for their organic chicken breast.
Bollocks to Coop and Migros too
It’s like you are complaining about the price of Kobe meat. It’s organic whatsoever fed. They have chicken breast at lower ranges such as coop prix – just bought 850g at 12chf the kilo
Good. I mean, it’s bio. Considered the fact there‘s a full life that was bred, born, raised, fed, tended to and slaughtered, I think meat in general is way too cheap.
It’s organic . I actually buy it every other week (tastes really good and better than the organic chicken breast at Migros imo). Denner is not in the same ballpark quality-wise.
Because it’s bio and without bones.
If you can butcher yourself get their whole chicken also bio for just 20/kg.
I always buy the whole stuff and butcher it. If you don’t want to then you pay thus price
My fav is that 1 kg of bio chicken costs 56 CHF and 1 kg of free range (the one to the left of this- you can see the little blue chicken sign) is 55 CHF.
What’s the point of the free range at this price. So bizzare
It’s bio, it’s to let people pay more if they have the money to throw away
I had the bio chicken wings tonight. 21.-/kg, and the biggest and juiciest wings I’ve had in a while. Tons of meat compared to bone. Normally a single package is perfect for two people, but tonight, I have leftovers.
I’m honestly just happy to have found bio chicken at my local coop. Unfortunately, they’ve been stocking more EU and pre-seasoned/ ready to eat crap lately.
The farmer chicken steak beside it is reduced though, buy that.
Yes, Switzerland is heaven yakyakyak…And you have to sell a kidney for Burger King ! 🤣
While this is pricy, so far it is the only chicken breast product that doesn’t feel like it was altered. Other ones look more pale, bigger but seem injected with water or else.
For a truly biologically bred and fed chicken this price actually sounds about right for switzerland. If however its actually the COOP markup and the chicken is not THAT good, its digraceful.
Poor chicken without breasts, it has expenses…
Always the same. That’s why buying from farmers oder abroad for a decent price
I just bought chicken in Spain for €6/Kg… want me to send you guys some ? 🫠
Pouletbrust isch überbewertet. Change my mind.
No one noticed that it expired a month ago?
FYI Coop currently has whole chicken for CHF 4.90/kg, around CHF 8-9 for a chicken.
It’s not organic, but you get two large breasts for a third of the price, and the rest of the chicken for free!
The beatings will continue, until morale improves
I wonder how much kg or tonnes are wasted due to prices
Coop is often absurdly expensive for meat, I remember seeing some beef (not wagyu) priced 120 CHF/kg about one year ago.
