Who was he looking into that ordered his murder?
Fifa, match fixing cartels or both..

It’s actually more complicated than that. The victim also lied for years (decades?) about his job to basically everyone, saying that he was working for ARPAC, which is the regional environmental protection agency, while in reality he never did. So there certainly is something very fishy going on.
‚Execution‘ implies a veneer of legality.

To be honest I wouldn’t be surprised if this homicide wasn’t related to his profession but was instead a matter of unpaid debts.
I think it’s more likely he owed a lot of money, failed to pay up and maybe threatened to tell the police.
