What? Ken Paxton, who has held elected office for 23 years and been Texas AG for 11, isn’t part of the political elite? And James Talarico, who has been in the Texas House for 8 years, and is running for statewide office for the first time ever, is?

Hell one house is enough to maintain as it is, granted he probably doesnt do any of the work on his own stuff so that probably makes it easier.

The man has also indicted for securities fraud and didn’t stand trial for like 7 years. Instead of facing a trial in which he faced up to 99 years in prison he cut a deal completing a pretrial diversion program that required him to pay roughly $300,000 in restitution, complete 100 hours of community service, and take legal ethics classes.

Something tells me that a fucking ethics class wasn’t going to unfuck Ken Paxtons unethical brain
