A tortured genius who harbors regrets about the object of his genius makes a wish to have more time with his family and calamity ensues.

I’ll send you my Venmo link Chris.

Acclaimed director gives up career to find the bottom of the ocean and it’s secrets. He only finds the depths of his home are more mysterious than any depth or pressure when it comes to his children and their woes with social media that is Goverment controlled but also…….BIGFOOT IS HIS MISTRESS AND HE IS A NEWT.

    3. Here’s a thought. Give Nolan Nightmare on Elm Street and just let him run away with it.

He should do a slasher, but subvert every trope and give us two and a half hours worth of great kills.

Let him do ”the thing” or lock him in a room with kojima and let them cook

*Obsession* is not an „amazing idea.“ But Inde Navarrette gives a bravura performance that is pretty staggering, makes the whole movie very engaging. But it’s her, not the ham-fisted monkey’s paw story that makes it something special.

    7. I heard one idea where thieves can use dreams to steal ideas right out of people’s heads. That could be a good horror movie

    8. I think he’d nail an existential dread type movie similar to an episode of Rod Serlings Twilight Zone. For example “Stopover In a quiet town”, “Time Enough at last”, or “Midnight Sun”.

      Nolan 🤝 Lovecraftian Horror

He would CRUSH At the Mountains of Madness, but I think he would need to lean more into some CGI elements, unless he wants to build a sprawling ancient and decayed derelict city in Antarctica.

Ian M. Banks ‚Surface Detail‘ has lingering Horror motifs wrapped up as Sci Fi. Central plot is a war regarding the continuation of virtual hell.

I’d like him to tackle something like War Of the Worlds or an alien invasion with horror elements.

He’s been saying he needs the right idea for years. Just adapt The Backrooms and call it a day

    16. **How about a horror film about an auteur who sacrifices every other aspect of filmmaking in pursuit of the perfect IMAX frame… only for 99% of the audience to never experience it.**

I don’t think obsession is an amazing idea I think it’s a simple one but it was executed very very well. Props to everyone involved because it was really good.
