He will be taken to a small, windowless room to compose and sign the letter of last resort, the instruction to the commander of the nuclear submarine carrying the British Trident nuclear weapon as to when and under what circumstances he is to fire the weapon following a devastating nuclear attack on Britain.
Before he signs, the incoming prime minister will be advised by the Cabinet Secretary and a senior naval officer. “It is a sobering moment,” recalls the former cabinet secretary Lord Simon Case, “and prime ministers tend to be awed and changed by the experience”.
Putin has his own problems, they include but are not limited too, no tanks, no fuel, no stockpiles. After fighting an unwinnable war, I’m not sure he’s prepared to fight his way out of a wet paper bag. I suspect he will be fighting to stay away from open windows for quite some time.

Is media really trying to sell us the narrative that Russia will just attack the UK? Russia wouldn’t be able to do much even if it wanted to. There’s no logic behind that belief.

Putin I feel isn’t ready for for war, he wasn’t ready for the war he’s in against a country with 40 million people with a massive land border (easy logistics) snd pre-existing collaborationist government, I think he’d struggle a little against 68 million people far away with a massively more advanced fleet and airforce than Ukraine had that’s likely to be directly backed by 400- 700 million others.
