Gonna see the film later. Haven’t watched the trailer bc I don’t really like trailers tbh, but I have read Odyssey. Looking forward to it.

I was entranced through the entire movie and the back of my knees were sweating from all the tension throughout the 3 hours. This truly is an epic movie I’m glad we were able to see in the theater.
The man who the US stock market has placed all their bets on, Elon Musk bet on UWE BOLL and Citizen Vigilante doing better than Christopher Nolan and „The Odyssey“.
It was surprisingly enjoyable for me. Even for a long movie at a somewhat late night showing it held my attention the entire run time. I think the way the creators layered complex human inner struggle into the story along side the mythology action sequences really added to the depth.

Really solid movie all the way through, it didn’t feel like a 3 hour film at all. I was worried it would feel long and drawn out with no payoff like Dunkirk but he absolutely crushed it with this one.
A they say the movies are dead! Netflix better get the memo an start putting their movies in theaters!
No director on earth gets butts in seats like Nolan does.
I can’t get tickets at an imax (imax-ish. I know. I’ve done the research) local to me in a large metropolis.

Great Director, great cast, a story with every facet of human trial and success in it and tons of money.. I imagine it’s quite the coup. Looking forward to seeing it this week.

But but the YouTubers have been telling me the movie was gonna be a failure.
I went to an 11pm showing Thursday night and the theater was absolutely sold out. There was a certain scene where the crowd reaction was, what I can only describe as similar to Avengers: Endgame when the heroes reappeared. I knew this film wouldn’t flop but it makes me happy to see this kind of turnout for movies in this day & age, especially a non-Marvel one
This movie was so good and I’m glad we splurged on IMAX! I was tense the whole time. Beautiful film.
