The biggest takeaway for me isn’t that ancient Earth was cooler than we thought—it’s that the planet’s natural climate regulation operates over millions of years, while we’re changing atmospheric CO₂ in just a few centuries. Those are fundamentally different processes and timescales, which makes this study even more interesting.
