all the MVs we’ve gotten for the b-sides in arirang have been such visual masterpieces, and this one for normal is no exception.
love the lavish sets and the fits (!!!) they all look so good.
i really liked the portrayal and juxtaposition between what people seem to think is their normal (the partying, the drinking, the excess. etc.) vs the final few scenes where they’re who they truly are – just normal guys at the end of the day who are human and love to be silly

Jimin’s abs are always appreciated. Respectfully.

Lots of callbacks to their older videos all through the MV. I’m going to have to watch it more than once.

The music, lyrics, MV..everything is in harmony with the meaning of this song..emotional burdens, exhaustion and isolation comes with being part of idol industry.
Disrespect to their privacy, everything becoming a content, constant expectation of acting in certain ways..(bathroom and dog scenes)
My favorite is still 2.0 because it’s fun, but this one also hits the mark.

Poor jk is basically being waterboarded lol (not complaining because he looks crazy hot when wet)

this MV reminds me of those musician biopics where they’ve reached the end game. The musicians get too famous, too much money, too much partying and the downsides of too much „partying“. Elvis, Elton John, Freddie Mercury all have this moment in their movies and I’m guessing the one about beatles is going to have the same.
I’m not saying BTS parties too much, i’m just saying it reminds me of those moments. Very fitting. Quite somber

Why did they censor the lyrics like it’s a radio edit? It’s YouTube, just do the original song.
